Team Armeg take to the skies to raise funds for a local charity…
Two colleagues from Team Armeg, Vicki and Sharni, conquered their fear of heights with a daredevil skydive in order to raise vital funds for local charity, Ashgate Hospice.
Ashgate Hospice provide palliative and end-of-life care to people aged 18 and over. They care for people living with a life-limiting illness, including cancer, neurological diseases, and end-stage heart, kidney and lung diseases.
The skydive took place on Saturday 11th June at Hibaldstow Airfield and involved a drop from 15,000 feet, reaching speeds of up to 120 mph.
The dive forms part of Armeg’s year-long programme of fund raising activities as a way to give back to a charity that has provided Armeg colleagues and their loved ones with care and support throughout the years.
The original fund raising target amount was set at £700. However, we are excited to confirm that Vicki and Sharni have gone above and beyond that, bringing in a fantastic total of £1475!
