2022 has brought us back to what we love doing best – making tools, selling tools and talking tools… basically all things tools!
This year saw us add a host of new drill bits and drivers into our professional range. After the success of the 2021 Roofing Bolt Driver launch, we added in the extended 100mm version, ideal for extra reach. We also brought you our promotional EBS Starter Kit, Holesaw Extensions and by popular demand, the 7 Piece Acceler8% Mega Set. In the Summer we embarked on an exciting collaboration with ClipaCore – becoming an exclusive distribution partner for the innovative and game changing Quick-Release Core system.
We dusted off our demo tools and hit the road again with our demo van ‘Meg’ to visit trade days around the country, plus we exhibited at our first Tool Fair show in 3 years. We have loved seeing Team Armeg again and demonstrating all our favourite Armeg products.
Behind the scenes we’ve also been busy. Continuing to invest in our Sheffield HQ factory, we made a home for new state of the art machinery, including UB5, our universal robot arm. The Armeg team also pushed themselves to their limits this year in support of our local sponsored charity, Ashgate hospice, completing sponsored skydives and the London Marathon.
So, on to next year where we’ll let you into a not so little secret…we have a special birthday coming up…it’s our 50th anniversary! We are proud of surviving and thriving for the past 50 years and continuing to manufacture in our hometown of Sheffield.
