We are pleased to introduce a brand-new addition to our product range – The Brocket.
Manufactured right here at Armeg HQ, this smart new tool is designed specifically for electrical conduit bush connectors and is perfect when working in tight / awkward areas thanks to its compact low profile.
The Brocket (conduit bush socket) is available in 2 sizes – 20mm and 25mm and features a hexagonal recess which positively locates on the bush for a secure fit and reduced slippage.
Both sizes are available individually, or as part of the 5-piece bush installation set which also includes 20 and 25mm Acceler8% Sheet Steel Holesaws and AAA Ratchet.
Adrian Journeaux, the founder and managing director of AJ Electrical services, came up with the concept when working on BMS electrical installations where the use of twin compartment trunking and lots of steel conduit is needed.
Adrian comments: “It soon became obvious that a new tool was needed to aid with the installation of conduit bushes”.
The original design consisted of a ¼” internal square section to suit a ¼” square to hexagon adaptor. We adapted this design to incorporate both the brocket and ¼” adaptor into one piece using high quality alloy for durability. The ¼” Hexagon shank in accordance with ISO 1173:2001(e) allows use in bit holders and ratchets including our handy AAA Ratchet –
