The solution to drilling in Nail Embedded Wood
Designed with all the benefits of the original WoodBeaver, the Nail-Proof also features a stronger cutting head, allowing it to provide effective drilling even after Nail Strikes. The robust profile of the four precision ground cutting teeth provides extreme resistance to hard objects whilst the HSS cutting head increases durability in tough materials to give longer tool life.

Tech-Tips
- Up to 25mm diameter can be used within an impact driver. This gives the advantages of one-handed operation and improved access in tight spaces
- When encountering a metal object, if possible reposition the drilled hole. Continued drilling with the Nail-Proof WoodBeaver will reduce it’s working life
- When being used in a cordless drill, the larger WoodBeavers should be used on the slowest speed range setting. The slowest speed range gives the higher torque required. Using on higher speeds only provides a low torque which could stall the machine out
- When encountering a nail etc. using an impact driver, it is important not to keep the power tool engaged onto a stationary drill bit. It is important to keep the drill bit spinning so as to actually cut through the nail. This can involve stopping and/or reversing the drill bit periodically. If this is carried out, then it should allow the product to successfully cut through the nail.
If the trigger is kept pressed whilst the drill bit is stationary, something has got to give due to the nature of the power tool. On rare occasions, it is the cutting edge.
